Those who spend a lot of time at the screen usually complain of deterioration and a sharp drop in vision, a feeling of discomfort, dryness, pain, cramps, and burning in the eyes.
With this lifestyle, eye exercises must be done. Close your eyes tightly several times, then blink, look up and down, left and right, turn your eyes in a circle. Exercises will not restore visual acuity. The task of gymnastics is to give the eyes a rest so that vision no longer deteriorates. It is necessary to do gymnastics for the eyes every 15-25 minutes of work in front of the monitor. It is also useful for eyesight to play badminton and tennis: the player does exercises for the eyes when he watches the ball / shuttle during the match.
Undoubtedly, visual stress at close range negatively affects vision, namely:
First, due to constant focusing near, a condition called "spasm of accommodation" develops. (other names are "false myopia", "habitually excessive tension of accommodation (PINA)"). This is manifested by the difficulty of focusing on distant objects.
Further, true myopia (myopia) begins to develop, when the eye begins to stretch in length.
Exercises ("point on the glass" and etc.) help with spasm (they help to relieve it, remove the eye muscle from the "pinched" state), but are powerless with true myopia.
To perform this exercise, you need to draw a marker (or attach) a mark, then, at a distance of 30 cm, start alternately looking at the mark, then at an object located in the distance (tree, house, etc.). Change focus 10-15 times.
Carry out 4-5 times a day while working at the computer. And your vision will not deteriorate.
