January, 2021It is very difficult to find active PC users who have not spoiled their eyesight over the years.
The most popular eye defect is myopia (nearsightedness).
One of the main reasons why it occurs is strong and prolonged stress on the eyes. The monitor screen is a strong source of stress on vision.
If each of us remembered while working at the PC about the rest of the eyes, then no one would have problems with vision. But, as we know, sometimes the computer is so fascinating that you can spend several hours in front of the monitor without taking your eyes off it, even for 1 second.
Such visual load certainly affects vision. How to get around it? Don't forget.

January, 2021From my own experience, I can say that yes, it does. The radiation emitted by the computer damages the retina and cornea of the eye. For me personally, after two years of daily use of a computer for 8-10 hours, vision deteriorated from 1.0 to 0.6, plus myopia began to develop.
Tip: if there is no way to reduce the time spent at the computer, try to increase the distance between eyes and a monitor, so you save your vision.
