The level of Russian medicine is lower than in advanced countries, because in Russian medicine there is still not a sufficient pool of doctors trained in accordance with advanced international standards. And there is nowhere to take these doctors, the medical education system is taking only the first steps towards international standards. Russian medicine will not be able to reach this level for at least another 10 years.

buying equipment and medicines is not enough. This is just secondary. The training of doctors is of paramount importance: training in modern diagnostics, the use of protocols (and not the treatment of anybody), the use of evidence-based medicine criteria (and not personal experience). Now doctors who studied at the same time as me work in polyclinics. It was a time when it was possible, but not necessary, to become a physician of the advanced world medicine level. And few people aspired to this (at that time it was economically unpromising). Now changes have begun to take place, but new doctors will come only in 10 years. It is useless to hope that this can be accelerated, we will not be able to buy the required number of doctors in Europe or Israel.

Of course, lower. In Makhachkala, five new ambulances were rejoicing; there are no queues in the clinics; there are no doctors; will not take and will not cure; our drugs cost an overdose * I, but the sense from them is 0. There are not enough beds in hospitals. In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the CHIEF nurse's salary is 8 rooms. The ambulance arrives in 2 hours (in Moscow), the buildings themselves are old ... There are still a lot of examples, but you understand everything. And, yes, we have an AIDS epidemic. Official
