Let me explain: one of the family members is constantly waking up with difficulty, and if you do not wake him up, he can easily sleep for 9-10 hours (conditionally from 1 am to 11 am).

This may be a symptom of a disease, but judging by what you write (9-10 hours) this is not the case.

First, who and how long does he work? This factor can play a key role, and secondly, how it eats. Thirdly, how old is he. All these factors can affect his well-being. If this is an old person, he may have increased fatigue, if his work is associated with constant stress and excessive responsibility, then he lives in constant stress. Better, of course, to be examined by a doctor.

But, it can also be ordinary laziness)) "Oblomovism" read the classics?

It can be both. The sleep rate for everyone is different in the range from 4 to 12 hours, in an adult it is approximately the same throughout life. If a member of your family has always slept like this, then most likely this is his norm. Another criterion: if after 9-10 hours of sleep he wakes up on his own, within 15 minutes comes to a working state, remains vigorous during the day, and falls asleep in 15 minutes in the evening, then he is healthy, just belongs to the category of long-sleeping people.

Not the norm, if:

  • he has difficulty waking up, no matter how much he sleeps
  • feels sleepy during the day despite vigorous, emotional (not boring) activities
  • wakes up frustrated, not rested with headaches and / or other unpleasant symptoms
  • cannot sleep in the evening
  • wakes up frequently during the night's sleep or for a long time (more than 15 minutes) cannot sleep after waking up
