Do you need it? It takes time to prepare for a marathon from scratch, well, at least 6 months, for the body to get used to and adapt to such a load. To prepare for a marathon, you need training from 25 km to 35 km. If you want to suffer, then no one is against. Do not forget about the limit at intermediate points where you can be removed for running too slow.

Yes, your time will be bad for an athlete, but for a person, running a marathon is a personal feat.
