Most psychologists do not cure, this is not their job in principle.

Medical psychotherapists are partly involved in treatment - when it comes to "minor psychiatry": anxiety disorders (what used to be called "neuroses") , depression.

Naturally, both anxiety disorders and depression can be a medical psychotherapist, like any normal person, what is not?))

Well, outside of medicine, - the psychologist, again like any living person, has his own "cockroaches" - or do you suppose that you can become such a pumped-up knight without fear and reproach? - No. Impossible. Contradictions, internal and external conflicts, development and mistakes, meeting with the inevitable disadvantages of any choice are part of the "supporting structure" of the human psyche. Basically. If / while we are alive.

... Well, how else to explain? A very good oncologist can get cancer, and this does not mean that he is a bad oncologist. Any well-trained soldier can be injured or killed, and this does not mean that he is a bad soldier. A psychologist who works with couples can break up - with pain, suffering, anger - and this deep personal crisis does not mean that he is a bad family psychologist.

All this means only that our oncologist, military, the psychologist is alive, not characters of someone's fantasies.

It is not sad, but most psychologists themselves are sick on their own. Unfortunately, there are very few normal adequate psychologists. It is extremely difficult to find a psychologist who will really help, and not disfigure even more. Such a rarity. The bitter truth of life.

I got depression at the age of 25. I have been engaged in psychiatric diagnoses since school (I became a psychologist because I hated psychologists and psychiatrists for their impenetrable stupidity), and did not expect at all that something like that could get to me. Due to external circumstances, which caused the maximum amount of stress in my entire life, I found myself at a loss and completely lost for six months. The problem was complicated by the fact that I went to study at the Gestalt Institute and there the teachers refused to believe that I was depressed, because I could get out of bed. The last lessons I spent already lying on the carpet, but then they told me only "You should ask for help." And this despite the fact that I begged for help all semester, because I was confused. I had post-student syndrome and felt that I was not good enough to solve it myself. What a fool I was! I solved most of the problem in 15 minutes, when I realized everything, and then everything went by itself to happiness. Since then, the problem of depression has become much clearer and simpler - it's good when you yourself go through something. There are definitely bonuses, but no one is immune from anything.

It helps health that if you are not just an idiot with a diploma, you do not destroy yourself with bad habits, you take care of yourself in a way that no one else can take care of and you do it super creatively. There is no procrastination, no fear, no guilt, and there is healthy aggression that allows you to take everything you need from life. It is unlikely that anyone is 100% protected from diseases, but the entire listed foundation changes the approach to these diseases, and to life in general. To hell with them with diseases - the life that a non-idiot psychologist can provide for himself, only a few out of millions can achieve. It's always the best sex, because we ate the dog on trust, and trust is the most important part of sex. It is always the best relationship, the best friendship. It is always the best happiness a person can give to himself. Being a psychologist is wonderful not because there is immunity, but because you know how to do something right, which choice is right, which people are right. No other profession offers to learn this, and as a psychologist you endlessly practice being truly happy and free.

We are all human, and therefore, can succumb to influence and show behavioral deviations, and if this is also a full-fledged psychiatrist, then it is more difficult for him to double.

Each profession has its own system of costs, so if you watch some videos on YouTube, you will notice that there are several doctors. This is necessary in order to record the patient's behavior and control his colleague.

Here are a couple of videos:

  • Delusions of grandeur, schizophrenia, Kandinsky-Clerambo syndrome
  • Oligophrenia. Delayed mental development

  • Schizophrenia, acute delirium
