January, 2021The disadvantages are obvious. It is inconvenient to brush your teeth, food gets clogged, if you clean it badly, the food starts to rot. Rub the gums. Get in the way. It's psychologically difficult to smile. Children can be teased.

January, 2021Let's just say: when they put you on, your teeth literally throb with pain. I could not speak all day, even my throat was filled with pain and suffering, what can we say about food.
I had to buy special devices every two months (brushes, brushes, rubber bands, etc.), which were far from cheap and it hit the family wallet so well. On the advice of a doctor, we bought an irrigator, which turned out to be useless for me. Just money wasted.
The brace was often peeled off, the whole cheek was torn into meat and, of course, every two months I experienced pain for 2.5 years.
Next week they will remove it and I am very happy.

January, 2021Nothing new to say: the first month - two discomfort. Refusal of tasty things, which in my case were lollipops (I loved to split them with my teeth), croutons, kozinaki. The wire arch constantly crawled out, and as the girl mentioned above, it was tearing the inside of her cheek into blood. I often had to go to the dentist who helped with this problem. And if it happened on the weekend - I covered it up with chewing gum, and go ahead. Sometimes a ring fell out. Food was stuck.

January, 2021I got braces when I was in 5th grade. For me it was hell, because I refused to wear removable records and "lost" them. First, they put me on the upper jaw. I could not bite anything and generally chew food normally, the first month, one might say. It feels like all the teeth have been knocked out, you feel as if they are not securely sitting in the gums and can fall off. :)) My dentist was not very neat, so every visit was torture and pain. The feeling was almost the same when the braces were installed on the lower jaw. I suffered for a couple of months from pain, but then I ate everything I wanted and chips too, nothing fell off. Since few people in our area wore braces then, they laughed at me and even called me "Piranha" behind my back: D But when they took them off I was happy to see even teeth, and now I love my smile!

January, 2021Well, apart from problems with brushing your teeth (it took more time for this) and the need to change the brush more often (the bristles wear out much faster and stronger), the problem is that when eating there is a risk of simply knocking off these braces.
