March, 2021The soul as a separate substance does not exist. One of the definitions of the word soul (Greek psyché [ψυχή]) is the person himself. You can say it is synonymous with the word man. What most believers mean by the word soul is completely at odds with what the Bible says on the subject. A person (or soul) is either alive or dead. Separately from a person, nothing exists, after death nothing is separated.
During organ transplantation, ethical issues will arise, for example, the question of someone else's blood and others, but this is a separate topic.

March, 2021And for non-believers?
The soul is in the brain. Soul = memory + intellectual capabilities + temperament (psychophysical characteristics of the nervous system). With the development of technology, it can be transferred to another medium. Moreover, the main attribute of personality is memory. If the temperament changes when transferred to another medium, you still recognize the person by what he remembers. It happens in life. A previously calm person may become irritable after an illness. However, you will still recognize the same familiar in him.
