Baking scones is a fun and delicious way to enjoy some time with your family. To make the perfect batch of scones, you’ll need a few key ingredients such as all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, butter or margarine, an egg, and milk or buttermilk. You will also need some tools like measuring cups and spoons for measuring out the ingredients correctly; mixing bowls to create the dough; sifter to combine dry ingredients evenly; rolling pin to roll out the dough; cutter or knife for cutting shapes into the dough; baking sheet lined with parchment paper for placing on top of cookie sheets in oven. Once you have gathered all of these items together it’s time to start making your scones! Start by preheating your oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit then whisking together all of your dry ingredients in one bowl using a sifter. Cut up cold butter into small cubes then add them into the mixture until it looks crumbly. Next beat one egg in another separate bowl before adding it along with either milk or buttermilk (which ever you choose) into the mix.
